The Regular 500th meeting of the Philip Broadfoot Lodge was held to celebrate both the 500th meeting and as part of the Kings Lynn Lodges 250th Provincial Grand Lodge celebrations.

The attendance of 110 including the Deputy Provincial Grand Master Very Worshipful Brother Steven Allen and the Assistant Provincial Grand Masters the worshipful brothers Brian Barton and Michael Hedges proved a tremendous success. The ceremony was a Second Degree for Bro Rueben Jones carried out in the usual efficient manner by the worshipful Master W.Bro Steve Burrell. This followed a jovial festive board including a sing along of songs from the 1940's, under the direction of the Master Elect Bro Hugh Hiluk and his Assistant Vocalist Bro John May. It was pointed out in the response to the visitors' by W.Bro John Playford, some songs were well before the 1940's, but of course he would know that !

A great night was had by all.
