Clay Shoot - 10th October

A good number of shotgun enthusiasts turned up for the 100 bird sporting clay shoot at High Lodge in Suffolk, organised by the Lodge of Marksmen.

Groups were quickly put together and the competition opened at approximately 10.00 am. Everyone enjoyed the day although some shot more effectively than others. Shooting ended at about 12.30 and lunch was then served in the function room.

A challenge was issued to the Suffolk shooters present for a days competition with Norfolk. They took it up and dates and format will be decided at a later date.

Congratulations to the outright winner - Keith Kilbourn who was unable to stay for the presentations.

Second place was shared between David Good, the Lodge Secretary and Roger Nash

and one of the principal organisers, Paul Budd took third.

There was a special award for non Masons and this went to Matt Wiles who is likely to become a Freemason early next year.
